Proposal

My proposed project is to research the abilities of creating an eco-friendly backyard, while still being cost efficient. Instead of using traditional backyard finishings such as grass, shrubs and flowers, is there a way to keep out yards looking great, while still helping to save the enviroment. Should we re-think the tradition concept of a backyard as a lush carpet of perfectly mowed grass? And most of all, why are people so obsessed with having the perfect lawn, instead of thinking about the money they could save, and the enviroment the could be helping to protect? My research should explain these questions, as well as assist people in creating an eco-friendly back yard.
